An advanced chassis, powerful engines and a choice of driving modes put you at the centre of an engaging driving experience. Inside, Scandinavian craftsmanship combines with smart technology to create a place where you will always enjoy spending time. And, inside and out, the new V60 exhibits the quality and sense of purpose that define the best Scandinavian design.
The V60 is available in the following trims; Momentum, Inscription and now R-Design.
EXTERIOR
Finely crafted exterior details let you know that the new V60 is one of the new generation of Volvo cars. A proud front grille sets the tone, while sculptured sides emphasise the car's athletic character. Strongly defined rear shoulders express the car's dynamic abilities, while deep and long side windows communicate the practicality of the new V60 and let a lot of light into its cabin.
INTERIOR
The New V60 has five supportive seats, meaning comfort for all. The folding rear backrest has a useful 60/40 split and an electrically operated folding backrest is optional.
With exceptional load space, at a volume of 529 litres to the top of the rear backrest, including the storage compartment under the floor, and up to 1364 litres when both parts of the rear backrest are folded, the V60 has one of the most practical and useful interiors. The load compartment includes a storage area under the floor that keeps valuable items out of sight and is locked together with the tailgate, as well as four shopping bag hooks and load securing eyelets that allow a variety of items to be transported safely.
The interior has a sleek centre display with touch screen and distinctive air vents featuring a vertical central strip with a metal finish. The materials used in the cabin of the new V60 enhance the feeling of modern Swedish luxury on board. Inscription trim includes decor in Driftwood – a unique wood treatment that is satisfying to look at and touch, and which references Volvo Cars’ Swedish heritage.
The new V60 is available with a panoramic roof that bathes the interior in natural light. Its large area means that those in both the front and rear seats can benefit from it, while special tinted glass reduces the transmission of unwanted heat and UV radiation. A power-operated sunshade made of perforated material makes it easy to keep strong light out if necessary, while the large front part of the roof can be tilted or opened to provide extra ventilation.
Volvo Cars' Sensus infotainment system is fully compatible with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and 4G, and keeps drivers connected at all times. The system is controlled via an intuitive tablet-style touch screen that combines car functions, navigation, connected services and entertainment apps.
