The new Land Rover Discovery Sport now comes with the innovative Ingenium diesel engine, enhancing this premium compact SUV's performance and economy.
The 2.0-litre four-cylinder Ingenium diesel engine is designed to deliver class-leading torque and power outputs, combined with excellent refinement, reduced CO2 emissions and lower fuel consumption.
The Discovery Sport’s EU6 compliant Ingenium engine will be available with two power outputs, 150HP and 180HP. The new 150HP derivative in its five seat set-up provides fuel economy of up to 57.7mpg and CO2 emissions from 129g/km, whilst the TD4 180HP in its standard 5+2 configuration delivers 139g/km and 53.3 mpg on the combined cycle.
By introducing it to the Discovery Sport, we can now offer enhanced fuel economy and reduced CO2 emissions, while improving overall performance.
The new TD4 engine is available with two power outputs, 150HP and 180HP. Fuel consumption figures for the new 150HP are 50.4 (urban), 62.8 (extra urban) and 57.7 (combined) with CO2 emissions of 129 g/km. The 180HP Manual fuel consumption figures are 44.1 (urban), 61.4 (extra urban) and 53.3 (combined) with CO2 emissions of 139 g/km.
The Discovery Sport model has a contemporary and sophisticated look with a sleek and aerodynamic profile. Inside, the Discovery Sport has flexible seating, legroom and generous loadspace. With a sliding second row, this versatile SUV can offer legroom to equal a Range Rover. A third row offers further options and can be adapted in order to satisfy loading or seating needs. Air conditioning, electric windows and remote central locking all come as standard, and the driver position, which provides an elevated view of the road ahead, can be manually adjusted to suit.
The TD4 SE model has heated front seats, climate control, an eight inch colour touch screen, and Bluetooth® Audio Streaming.
The SE Tech has all the features of the SE plus, touch-screen navigation system, rain sensing windscreen wipers, automatic headlamps, front parking sensors, powered tailgate and front fog lamps.

The HSE Luxury is the ultimate vehicle for refinement and performance. It includes all the features of the HSE plus many extras including; seats finished in Windsor leather with ten way memory adjustment, Parallel, Parking Exit and Perpendicular Park Assist, Illuminated aluminium treadplates, Customer configurable mood lighting and Climate heated and cooled front seats and heated rear seats.
New Discovery Sport features the all-new pedestrian airbag which deploys from the upper-rear surface of the bonnet within 60 milliseconds upon detection of a pedestrian impact. Another first for Land Rover is the Autonomous Emergency Braking system, which uses a digital stereo camera mounted next to the rear view mirror to detect objects that could pose a collision threat, delivering visual and audible warnings and automatically applying the brakes if a collision is imminent.
The New Discovery Sport also features a full suite of active and passive safety systems, including Dynamic Stability Control, Electronic Traction Control, Roll Stability Control, Anti-lock Braking Systems, Reverse Traffic Detection, Emergency Brake Lights, Lane Departure Warning and Seatbelt Reminders. Optional* features also include Blind Spot Monitoring with Closing Vehicle Sensing, Active Speed Limiting, Reverse Traffic Detection and Traffic Sign Recognition.
