The Discovery Sport exterior has been styled to separate it from other members of the Land Rover family; it has a similar front end to the Evoque except with a rounder more aerodynamic body. The Discovery Sport design is a combination of sophistication and sportiness and will appeal to the experienced and adventurous driver. On the inside the Discovery Sport has all the qualities you can expect from a Land Rover with 5+2 seating available. The rear 2 seats can be put up when more passengers are travelling with you or folded down for more luggage capacity. The second row can also be slid to give your passengers more legroom.
The Discovery Sport comes with a range of features inside the cabin to make driving as comfortable and safe as possible, air conditioning, electric windows, central locking and an adjustable driver's seat all come as standard. On the SD4 SE model there are heated front seats and eight inch colour touch screen, while the upgraded SE Tech model comes with front parking sensors, touch screen navigation system rain sensing windscreen wipers and powered tailgate and front fog lamps.
The SD4 HSE model features everything found in the SE Tech plus additional extras such as a panoramic sunroof, Xenon headlamps with LED signature and a reversing camera.
The Landmark is the top of the range model and is available in Yulong White, Corris Grey and Narvik Black - uniquely combined with a Carpathian Grey contrast roof. The Landmark has Xenon headlights, a fixed panoramic roof, rear parking aid and an 8" Touchscreen.
The Land Rover Discovery Sport comes with the Ingenium engine options of five different diesel engines or two different petrol engines. The 2.0-litre TD4 turbo engine has a six-speed manual transmission and innovative stop-start technology. While the 2.0-litre automatic comes with a top of the range nine-speed transmission. The TD4 engine produces 180PS and 430Nm of torque, with a fuel efficiency of up to 43.5mpg.
Land Rover are class leaders in off road vehicles and this is at the core of the Discovery Sport. The Discovery Sport has been designed to be able to easily drive over the harshest of terrain; it has excellent ground clearance, as well as having the ability to wade through up to 600mm of water. The Land Rover Terrain Response® system allows drivers to tailor the Discovery Sports responses to driving conditions, with four setting available including: General; Grass/Gravel/Snow; Mud and Ruts; and Sand.
