Celebrate The Launch Of The New Range Rover At Taggarts
4th January 2013
A Sneak Peek of the all new Range Rover 2013 model
One of 2013’s most eagerly awaited vehicles, the fourth-generation Range Rover, will be on sale from January. To celebrate this milestone, Taggarts Land Rover in Glasgow will present the new model to a limited number of valued customers at an invitation-only event on January 10th.
Invited guests will be able to pre-book a slot allowing them to view a stand-still version of the new car, as well as enjoying the full hospitality available at the event’s private location. Invitees will also be able to take away a range of informative literature about the all-new Land Rover.
Test Drive the new Model
The benefits of receiving an invitation are not restricted to the date of the event – attendees can even pre-book a test drive in our demonstration model before the first cars begin to arrive at our Maryhill Road showrooms.
The select few invited to the launch will therefore be able to experience the improvements made to the previous Range Rover before the majority of customers. This will allow you to make an informed decision on whether to purchase the fourth-generation model, thus staying ahead of any delays arising from demand outstripping supply.
Experience the new 2013 Range Rover for yourself
The event allows you to experience for yourself the dozens of improvements made to the vehicle. Chief among these are a new 258bhp V6 diesel engine, which joins more powerful and fuel-efficient versions of the third-generation’s choice of V8 diesel and petrol units. The new edition is also an impressive 420kg lighter – making the acceleration of the V6-equipped new car roughly equivalent to that of the outgoing, V8-equipped model.
Considerably reduced bulk has also given the fourth-generation Range Rover significantly more steering, whilst the interior refinement and comfort reach new heights thanks to the increased space afforded by the longer wheelbase and heated Oxford leather seats as standard. Even the immense off-road capabilities of earlier Range Rovers have been enhanced, with an updated Terrain Response system surveying the ground ahead and automatically adapting the suspension before you reach an obstacle.
