William Queen was recently named Jaguar Technician of the year 2015-2016 by awarding body Jaguar Land Rover, during a recent event held on the weekend of 21st May that was attended by all remaining finalists for both Jaguar & Land Rover. This follows on from William winning 2nd place in the previous year.
Beside William is Michael Cassidy who won UK Technician of the year last year along with finishing 2nd in the Global Competition.
This awards dinner was at the end of a long process which started in April 2015 when William, along with other level 3 & 4 technicians completed an online assessment. This was then followed by another 3 online assessments split over each quarter thereafter. The top 5 performing Technicians are then invited to attend a Practical skills assessment day when they compete against each other over 5 practical tests at the JLR Training academy.
The results of these 5 Practical tests are then used to determine the Technician of the Year. The results were announced to all on the night of 21st May at Stapleford Park Country House Leicester.
CONGRATULATIONS WILLIAM AND MICHAEL!!!
