The Jaguar Academy of sport works in conjunction with SportsAid with the aim of encouraging and supporting a range of young athletes named ‘Rising Stars’ providing guidance, and funding and giving them the best possible chance to succeed within their selected sport.

Some of the biggest names in sport attended a Q&A workshop which gave the ‘Rising Stars’ an opportunity to have their questions answered by David Beckham, Sir Steve Redgrave, Sir Ian Botham, Gareth Edwards, Denise Lewis and Dame Kelly Holmes, who have all reached the pinnacle of their respective fields during their illustrious careers.

“I’ve really enjoyed spending time with the 2012 Rising Stars, they are all clearly very talented young athletes and asked some really great questions, I hope the answers myself and the other Patrons provided will stick with them and help on their journey to the top.”

-Jaguar Academy of Sport Patron David Beckham
